Syed Manzur Elahi Chairman Apex Group Mr. Syed Manzur Elahi was born in 1942. He obtained his Masters Degree in Economics from Dhaka University in 1964. In 1965 he joined British American Tobacco Company as an Executive Officer and resigned on his 30th birthday to start his own business in leather. |

| He is the Founding Chairman of Apex Group, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and Pioneer Insurance Company. He was the President of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) and Dhaka University Alumni Association. Amongst others, he is the Founding Trustee Member of East West University. Mr. Syed Manzur Elahi was Honorable Advisor to the Caretaker Government in 1996 and 2001. |
